Summary: Just stick your fingers in your ears and hum.

Will returned to the Sanctuary after three days and found it curiously devoid of life. The habitats were all dark, and the building seemed silent and abandoned. He spotted the Big Guy on his way downstairs, but he was wearing bulky headphones that were apparently loud enough that he didn't hear Will calling to him. Will dumped his things in his room and started toward Henry's lab. He ran into Henry halfway, turning a corner to find Henry was plugged into his iPod. Fortunately he had smelled Will's approach and avoided a collision. He raised his chin in greeting.

"Welcome back!" he said, louder than necessary.

Will grabbed Henry's arm and gestured for him to take out the earbuds. "What the heck is going on? You and Big Guy are both making yourselves deaf, the residents are all hunkered down for hibernation..."

"Oh. Noise canceling." He pointed toward the ceiling. "Dr. Benoit is visiting."

"So?"

Even as he said it, he heard an almost primal yell echoing down the corridor. At first he thought someone was in danger, but he quickly realized the truth. "Oh... Dr. Benoit is visiting. And you guys are blocking your ears--"

Henry replaced his earbuds and started to back away. "Yep. The British are coming, the British are coming."

Will covered his ears with both hands and went to find something in his room to block the noise.
