Sam is the big spoon. Not just because of the height differences, because she likes to protect Janet even in their sleep.

Laundry! Sam loves the way clothes feel when they come out of the dryer, and they love folding/hanging.

Janet. Sometimes Sam will just jump in with her, scrub up, and then kiss her goodbye while Janet is still in the middle of gussying up.

Chinese. They share a single thing of rice.

Video games. Sam thinks Cassie needs the outlet, Janet doesn't think its a good hobby.

Janet. Domestic goddess, that one.

Jane is the big spoon for the same reason as Sam. She has a protective drive that she just can't turn off. Plus she's a cuddler. Maura sleeps like the dead: flat on her back, hands laced on her stomach

Compromising: museums for Maura, baseball for Jane. But they enjoy them together.

Maura. Jane occasionally has to shower in the locker room at the gym.

Whatever sounds good. Jane usually sees food as fuel and Maura sees it as a potential work of art.

Tortoise!

Maura, just because she knows where everything SHOULD go.

The mermaid's name. She doesn't mind Sally, but Helen finds it offensive. The mermaid doesn't think Helen should mind since it doesn't bother her. Helen disagrees. Round and round they go!
