Heee, thank you! The missing scene I felt didn't fit into the fic was Hammond, the Air Force Chief of Staff, and a welted Daniel watching it on security cameras. CoS says, "This is how your best team behaves?" And Hammond says, "This is what makes them my best team." :D

~laughs~ Just the image of Sam taking cover behind the wall and Janet emerging with her gun drawn... I couldn't get it out of my head. And in the original idea, Sam ran from Teal'c by going up and across the briefing room table. Using the chairs made more tactical sense. ;-D
