30 Days of Music - Day 16
16 days, what do you get, another day older and another installment of the music meme! I almost forgot yesterday, so I'm overcompensating today a little bit. ;-D
Day 16. A song that you used to love but now hate
This would be so much easier if it was a song I used to hate but now I love. Hm. I'll go with "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith, but with a caveat: I don't hate the song. I still have the MP3 and everything. I bought the Armageddon soundtrack specifically for the song. I used to play it ALL the damn time. But I eventually got over it and it's a song that I'll listen to if it's on the radio, but I usually skip over it if I'm looking for an MP3 to listen to. So while I don't hate it, I certainly don't love it like I once did. I think that counts. ;-D And even though these days it would be weird to have a movie with workers from a deep-sea oil platform being the hero (it's like a BP ad gone insane!), you have the admit the video is pretty damn awesome.
Man. I need to see that movie again... It's like SG-1's "Fail Safe"! Almost exactly like it. Man, what a rip-off of Stargate that movie was. ~cough, shifty eyes~
