Two MMOM stories, one requested!

May 15, 2009 20:42

These are for tomorrow and Sunday's MMOM challenge, but I thought I would go ahead and post these today since now since sams_ceara requested the second one (she asked for Nadine/Miranda). So you guys get a sneaky peek at my MMOM stories! These are both part of the Taboo series (obviously), so they deal with Nick Bronwyn and her book of photos.

Loren leaned forward. She lightly brushed her lips over Loren's and across her cheek.

Too many Lorens I think.

The "do you want me to call you ma'am" line was perfect :D

I'm really glad you didn't have Nadine or Miranda end up in the book, I just can't imagine either one of them going for it. Plus, with the celebrity aspect of it, if it got out that either of them had been in it, there's no way that they wouldn't get fired. But I bet Hoagie would love the book even more if it did!

Oops, nice catch!

And yeah, I considered it for maybe a second before I realized there was absolutely no way. Alas. ;-D But I found a way to make them enjoy the book anyway! The same with Jill (elementary school teacher) and Patricia (deputy mayor). There is absolutely no way they would take part with their jobs, not to mention a teen son. But they will be involved in the story. ;-D

And oh, you know Hoagie is going to get a copy of the book as soon as possible, even if he doesn't know anyone in it. ;-D

Wetting down paper towels in the sink? Is that something you do when your AC is on the fritz and if so, why?

Paper towels or washclothes, but paper towels mean no laundry. ;-D I fold it to make a pad, and then wet it down with cool water, and you can put it on your forehead or wrists so you won't get too overheated. :)

Aaah. I have a special thingy for that - it's sort of a snake-like thing filled with little grains of *stuff* that swell when you put them in water and stay cool until they dry out again. Nifty and very handy in the humid heat we get here if we get any heat at all ;-P

It's called a Cobber cooler - I looked it up. http://pages.prodigy.net/volksware/volksware/cobber.htm

Ooo, that's cool! No pun intended. ;-D

BTW, I have an idea for your requested story. I'll try to get it written and posted today. :D

I finally got around to reading this. Sheesh, you'd think I haven't been online much....when that is so not the case. I've been online just not reading much. Mostly talking on aim and facebook.

I adored the Nadine/Miranda and echo phpishy's (so want to call him blankey still) thoughts about having them end up in the book. As hot as that would be, I don't see them going for it, either.

Thank you for more Dean and Miranda!! =D

I'm glad you liked it! I understand things like conversing with friends getting in the way of reading. You got to it, that's all that matters! :D

You're very welcome! ~dofs hat~
