I must sound like a total noob. I'm new to LJ but not to fanficcing. Um, how d'you set up a little damn table? Curious.

I just stole the code from the fic challenge where I signed up for 100 stories! They had it available for everyone who signed up. :D Just take it and plug it in! I would offer it to you, but I don't know how to share the code without making it turn into the table in the entry! :(

Okay, I swear I only have one more question. Now that I have the table in, how do I connect a story to each box in the table? THIS IS TOO CONFUSING, BUT I SWEAR IMMA MANAGE TO DO IT. :|

Okay, this sounds more confusing than it is. But it's not! Trust me. :D

Let's say you want the word "Cake" on the Little Table to lead to a story about cake. You have to have the URL to that story, then you go in to edit the post with your Little Table. Then all you do is put this...

But instead of [], you put it inside of these: <> :D

See, this is just confusing a'cause one thing leads to another. Like, making 'beginnings' in the table into a link means I then have to have something to link it to and so forth and so forth and blah this makes no sense.

Yeah, it's pretty confusing! You can post it to LJ, and then have another LJ post link back to that one. :)
