Oh, come on, TRY!! :D I have time! *grins*

Okay, you asked for it :o)

When the story opened, I thought Kate was really buying a home, and that made me really happy. All the other fics I've read have always been about secrecy and hiding (mostly) and buying a home together is something that most people don't cover. It was just really awesome.

I was a little disappointed she wouldn't be living with Abby, even if it was an undercover thing, but I got over that pretty quickly. Yes, you're that good. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Kate and Paula.

Abby and Tony with the MTAC people was HILARIOUS. I kinda wish there were more of that, before the drama broke out. I'm a big fan of MST3K type stuff.

I've done the "Oh, you're lesbians!" bit with the neighbors, and those scenes were pretty funny. It's a nervewracking thing and something you worry about every time you move in to a new neighborhood. I'm glad you threw it in there.

The first night stuff cracked me up. It was too cute. I love that you didn't MTMO as soon as you got them into bed. It was believable and even romantic in a crazy kind of way. Making Paula a sleep-cuddler was a perfect touch.

The "we're in a relationship but not" bantering was GREAT. "Bring me decaf and I'll divorce you." Haha.

And then the drama starts. The bit with the missing guy's partner was crushing. Ugh. But realistic.

I love how you build their relationship in a believeable way. It didn't feel rushed or forced. Even the morning after stuff was good.

You didn't leave any huge plot holes gaping in the story. You covered all the details. It felt like a real NCIS show (and how do I wish it was!). The car chase, Ducky stitching up Gibbs, it was all there.

Now you just need to write one where Kate and ABBY buy a house :o)

YESSSSSS!! *pumps fist*

Aww! Well, I'm sorry it ended up being a scam! ;-D

*beams* Thank you!! The reason this was story 97 or whatever is because I couldn't figure out how to get Abby there. Then I thought of the Kate/Paula thing and... voila! Because I just couldn't think of a plausible reason for Abby to go undercover. :-(

Abby and Tony with the MTAC people was HILARIOUS. I kinda wish there were more of that, before the drama broke out. I'm a big fan of MST3K type stuff.

*grins* I'm SO GLAD that came though! I almost had Abby call Tony Tom Servo. ;-D And MTAC Director is Don S. Davis, so I wanted to use him in at least one fic ;-D Hammond Love!! :D

Thanks! It's something I've never had to deal with (thankfully), but I can see how you'd be "Do I tell them? Keep it secret...?"

Aw! That was my favorite part, the non-romantic sleeping together and having Paula cuddle Kate. It's my favorite part of the whole story, bar none. :D

The "we're in a relationship but not" bantering was GREAT. "Bring me decaf and I'll divorce you." Haha.

*beams* It's the Arcadia "Get back in here and make me a sandwich!" influence! :D

And then the drama starts. The bit with the missing guy's partner was crushing. Ugh. But realistic.

Thank you! *hugs you* I was a bit worried about having such a dramatic case in a fluffy fic, but it worked out with the end. Kate DOES get abducted. But... i-it's fluffy! I just remember that Under Covers ended with Tony getting beaten and I decide it's okay ;-D

I love how you build their relationship in a believeable way. It didn't feel rushed or forced. Even the morning after stuff was good.

Thaaaaaank you! :D

Oooooh, if only it was a real episode! Close-minded CBS lackies. :-( ;-D

Now you just need to write one where Kate and ABBY buy a house :o)

And NOT for a case! ;-D

This? Was perfection! *grin*

Aw, that's alright. I had my little moment, and it was good :o)

Because I just couldn't think of a plausible reason for Abby to go undercover. :-(

Yes, it was much more plausible with Paula there. Putting Abby undercover would have felt a little forced. I think you made the right decision in the long run.

Thanks! It's something I've never had to deal with (thankfully), but I can see how you'd be "Do I tell them? Keep it secret...?"

It's not exactly the funnest thing on the planet, no. In general, I think it's better to handle it the way you did, which is to be upfront from the beginning so people don't feel like they're being lied to. And there's no, "Well, are they really our friends, or is this going to change things?" when you do finally tell them.

Mine too :o)

It would make my millenium :o)
