Into Metal??

Check it out guys, I was at a Dragon Force concert, on thursday night. I saw, Horse the Band, I saw All That Remains, and DRAGON FORCE.

Alright, now I'm going to give the show a review, like Cloud. Hahaha.

Well, I went with Robbie, and we were both extremely excited, we were in the pit, pressed up against the metal fence separating the crowd from the edge of the stage, and people were piling in. Horse came on, and I'll have to say they were....interesting. The music, well I personally thought it was pretty good. The main guy with the keyboard seemed to have some kind of Napoleon Dynamite thing going on. Their main lyricist seemed like a Jack Black wannabe, and they had some strange Bill Cosby guy too.

Anyways, their set is over, and I am pretty excited, I have no idea who's next. All That Remains is the band that's coming up, and some "groupies" I will call them, are clamouring for a spot at the fence, and this chick is edging in on my spot, I turn and I ask "Whats the problem?" and she suddenly coils her body, and launches a surprise elbow at me. Her devious plan to get my spot at the fence. It worked. So, I was extremely happy that when the tidal wave of people surged forward, my 210 pound body smothered her into that metal fence. Anyways, ATR seemes like the typical hardcore band. I was not really impressed. They seemed very stereotypical. The bassist was kind of cool, but even still, he was sort of chubby, and tried to be too badass/sexy. I think he would be intensly more imposing if he had about 15-20 lbs more muscle on him.

So, Dragon Force came on after all this, but not before two hot chicks were jumping on stage on trampolines. ((Sweet intermission)) So, yah, after the ladies left the stage, and more waiting, Dragon Force preformed. I will have to say, it was absolutely crazy. They had such control over the crowd. And regardless of whether you suck, or kick ass, if you have incredible crowd control/charisma, you have to be a sweet band. When the lead singer told the pit it had 10 seconds to split like the red sea down the middle, that pit was split in 4.5

It was amazing. Plus, they have an asian dude in the band. Badass.

Anyways, was the greatest night I've had in a long time. I am still sore, still deaf that equals Awesome.

Alright guys, signing off.
