I hate it when my body decides to wake up before I really want it to do so.
I've been up since 5:30 AM, and I've been rather busy considering the rest of the world is still in bed. Since I get paid on Monday, I'm writing up all my bills. (One of the joys of doing payroll is I know exactly how much money I make days before I actually get paid, so I can write them and send them out on payday.)
I'm then going to clean up my apartment for a while, then head to the gym and run for an hour. I lifted weights yesterday, so I don't want to overdo. I't going to be nice, though, because I hadn't gone to the gym for a week before yesterday. Acid reflux followed by a head cold prevented me from going. I'll feel less like a sludge monster.
Then I'm heading to the library to return the books I read this week--a book on silent film, a book on liquor, and a biography of Doris Day. Don't have anything on hold, so I don't know if I'll get anything.
After that breakfast, then back home for the afternoon. I'll probably call Indiana and find out how the corn and soybeans are doing. Rain has come at bad times this year. There was too much rain during planting--the farmers couldn't get the crops in in March and April. Now, there's not enough rain, so the crops aren't growing as well as they should.
But there are ripe tomatoes on the vine--a fresh tomato before the 4th of July is something to be bragged about.
