Food and Drink
I must admit that dinner was much more interesting than work today. I spent most of the day moving files from one part of the file room to another, which was as boring as it sounds, and the reason for this was really about as interesting as moving the files.
Luckily I met up with my friend Dawn after the gym and we went to Ray's Vietnamese restaurant. The food was good, the spring rolls were very fresh, and the ginger beef was fantastic. Unfortunately the service sucked eggs.
So, to treat ourselves, Dawn and I went to the liquor store down the block and picked up something we were craving. Dawn, as usual, wanted a glass of red wine, so she picked up a Sangiovese, while I wanted a martini, so I bought a bottle of Bombay Sapphire.
Unfortunately, I don't have any of the other fixings for a good martini, so ghost_light, convince your husband to go to the LAN party and let me come over so we can get good and stinky trying on perfume and I can get fabulous on martinis and I'll share! I don't what could possibly make a Friday night more fun.
