The Academy Awards

Wow. I didn't realize the Academy Awards were given out until I read about them in the news today.

I used to plan my weekend around them, throwing a party and doing a big Oscar poll with prizes.

What a difference a couple years make.

I watched them, but it was more from habit than anything else. I actually considered what would happen if I didn't watch at least a little of the Oscars for the first time in over 20 yers.
