I'm still trying to make sense of the year that was. Somehow when I started 2005 I felt as if I was ready for a lot of great things, somehow, I got into thinking that none of it was enough ---
until I started writing everything down.
January
(January was so busy that I barely had time to breathe)
+ Ken, Gigi, Omel, and I finished our Quitorianno make-over for Real Living Magazine. We renovated a condominium bedroom for Ms. Quitorianno (Ate Shena from Batibot) and her two sweet kids.
+ Worked on the makeup of The Late Isabel Video "My Favorite Things". I was also part of the cast. Hehehe. This would be my first music video, one that propelled me to super stardom among couch potato classmates.

February
+ Birthday month, I had a fabulous Alice in Wonderland birthday at home in our new "tower". All my beautiful friends were there and those who got lost in the maze were forgiven afterwards. I also introduced a new concept in preparing party icebreakers.
+ Make-up for a fashion show featuring clothes from Nula.

March
+ School work mostly. Sucks but I devoted an entire month to utter geekiness.
April
+ Awesome trip to Puerto with Aurelio and the rest of the CDG people. This was also my first venture in transvestite fashion and make-up. I never realized that my boyfriend is a hotter school girl than I am.

May
+ Finally! Our Real Living Article gets published and we get 45 calls from potential clients, an owner of a resort, a videographer, housewives, husbands who want to give surprise their wives, and single women who have boyfriends coming over for the summer.
+ We finished a resthouse design project in time for our client's birthday. Whew. I can't believe it just took us one week and a half to work on the interior renovation project. This involved endless trips to Megamall, MC Home and Wilcon and persistent haggling with concessionaires in Dapitan.

June
+ We finished the main residence of our resthouse client in time for a big party. Work work work.
+ Started working with a Chinese soon to be married couple which probably contributed to the increasing number of wrinkles on my forehead. Thank god for Creme de la Mer.
July
+ We started working on another apartment in QC for two busy doctors.
+ Thesis thesis non-stop. Research, interviews, data-gathering. Man we were working maggots though and through.
August
+ My baby moves in.
+ Ken, Xtin and I had to fly to Batanes to stay there for a week.

September
+ Ghost month so all work on our Chinese client's house is postponed. Whew.
+ My classmates and I moved in our Mahiyain thesis house. Marathons, binges and parties!
+ Thesis deliberations! OMG.

October
+ Had one of 'em makeovers for 2bu! with the Lancome fall collection.
+ I fell in love with my new PB12" G4. Love love love. I had to start learning Archicad, Maya and Vectorworks.
+ Started working (by myself) on a 3-storey townhouse in Horseshoe. I loved this project because the couple were so easy to talk to.
+ Helped Bianca and Tatin on their Disney themed Halloween 2bu! shoot.
+ Hail hail high priestess. Thank you for the divination tool.
November
+ Make-up month. Worked for various model comp card shoots in Hotels. Love em shoots!
+ Started reaching out to covens and other practitioners. Being alone just doesn't cut it anymore.
December
+ Finished a house hunting article for Wedding Essentials.
+ Started another solo project for a couple who are exploring themes of modern minimalism with industrial touches.
+ Worked on my very first print-ad for makeup. I never thought advertising could pay so well. I might just get to buy the Chloe Paddington satchel.
+ I started taping for various promo plugs for ABS-CBN which prompted several inquiries from relatives and my bf's relatives regarding me selling out to television. Pera lang po yun. :)
+ Started obsessing about handbags. I will be getting my vintage LV and a Balenciaga next month so I'm rather excited. Who would have thought!
+ Worked on a really fun NY wedding with a Tiffany Blue motif. This was my very very first time to do make-up for old women (60-70s) so I was scared to death. Thank goodness for Chanel Base Lumiere and Teint Universel.
These were the highlights of my year. Guess I'm really geekolette, seeing that most of the things that I loved doing was really regarding work: make-up, designing, writing and modeling. Was I greedy or was I just busy?
