So last night I was writing a paper that was due today at 8am:

- My printer was out of ink so I went to the store to get black ink. I didn't buy any colored ink because I wouldn't need it. Trip 1 to store.

- I finish writing the paper and try to print it. The printer screams at me that it's out of ink. The printer simply won't let you print unless you have all 4 ink cartridges full. It doesn't matter if what you're printing is only black and white. The printer NEEDS colored ink and won't let you do anything unless you do.

- I went back to the store to check on the price of the colored inks. They were $40 for all 3. I had already paid $20 for the black ink. This, of course, is just the manufactures way of making you spend more money. That was trip 2 to the store.

- I decide to just burn the paper onto a CD and go in early to print it out on the computer lab.

- Hours go by and at 11:30 I go to check my phone. It's no where to be found. I search my entire room, my car, and the parking lot. Nothing. I ask my roommate to call it but when he does I hear nothing.

- I drive back to the store but it's already closed. The people up front tell me to come back in the morning. That was trip 3. Because I use my phone as an alarm clock, I don't own a true alarm clock. I rush to the 24-hour Wal'Mart about 15 minutes from my house to buy a clock.

- I get a clock and go to the cash register. The guy ahead of me takes 20 minutes to check out because he wants to use a coupon on medicine or some shit. When he finally gets through, the lady tells me I'm going to have to wait because its midnight and they need to switch the time over. -_-

- I return home and open up the clock only to find it takes a 9-volt battery. I only have double A's and triple A's.

At that point it was already well past midnight and I was exhausted. I finally decided just to go to sleep and go to my teachers office in the morning and explain to him what happened. Furthermore I brought along the CD I had burned my paper on to (which showed the time it was created and the time it was modified), along with the receipt from my alarm clock and the receipt from my new phone (Target didn't have my old phone in their lost and found) to prove that the project was in fact finished the night before and that my story wasn't totally bogus.

To my relief he believed me and accepted the paper. Also I got a new phone for only $10 with the renewal of my contract. I still miss my old phone. I had it for 4 years, it worked just about everywhere and it survived all sorts of damage. I will miss you, phone.

Is no one else concerned that Rukia might be dead? Do the characters even remember at this point? Ever since her fight with the face-dude, nothing has been said about her. If she is dead, I'm going to be very upset. I know that the author took a pussy way out in the Soul Society arc by having everyone survive despite their grisly injuries but killing off Rukia? That's just lame.

Nell is hot though and anyone who disagrees needs to be slapped.

I finally finished A Game With Gods the other day. I gave it a complete face lift and it's gone from being about 11 pages to 30. Now I just need to finish my RK/Inuyasha crossover and Bleach flasfic.

Work work work.
