(no subject)
So life took a turn for the better. In the past few weeks I've gotten two job offers, one from Best Buy and another from Toys R Us (I know what you're thinking but hey a jobs a job!). They're both seasonal but work is work. I went with Best Buy after hanging out in the break room for like 45 minutes.
Okay their break room...It's like better than my own bedroom. They have a HUGE wide screen TV with better cable than my own house, a leather couch, and a basketball game...thing. And they are SO friendly. Every person that came in there while I was waiting immediately started up a conversation with me. Then there was one of the workers who kept challenging his boss (who was off for the day but had come in wearing some of the scrubbiest clothes I've ever seen) to a game of basketball in their freaking break room. Then the other manager who came in with his wife and proceeded to argue about what was inside a chalupa. Everything reminded me of my old workplace Steak and Ale back in Pensacola, the best place I've worked.
Plus they offered me a dollar more in pay an hour so the decision was pretty easy to make. I start this Sunday. I was walking on Cloud Nine when I first got hired. When I went in for my second interview they told me I wouldn't find out if I had been hired until tomorrow. I had orientation for Toys R Us the next morning and if I didn't get into Best Buy I was going to take the Toys R Us job. When he saw the look on my face he asked about it and I told him the truth, that I had a job offer from Toys R Us I was going to take if Best Buy couldn't offer me a position. He offered to call me late that night after they had finished the rest of their interviews. I told him that'd be fine because I would be up late doing a raid on World of Warcraft >.> Probably the smartest thing I told them. Him and the guy interviewing with him loved it. They thought it was the funniest thing. Anyway we finished the interview and I got ready to leave. In the midst of walking to my car, the other guy interviewing me came RUNNING after me screaming my name across the parking lot. Then he told me I was hired.
So yeah. It was a good day.
World of Warcraft has also been quite gratifying. The other week my guild got the

Then the day before yesterday I got
My 10m killed Lich King Heroic so I got Bane of the Fallen King title. I think we were the fifth group on the server to get it. We also did the achievement Earth, Wind, and Fire which was lots of fun and then proceeded to clear most of Naxxraxamus 25 with 10 people. Pretty good night.
Original writing also going good. I'm up to about page 270 and I'd say I'm more than halfway done. I'm hoping to wrap it up around page 500. Then the long headache of trying to get published.
But for now life is good.
