Moving on

Well me and Will finally found somewhere at the 11th hour. References permitting. We found a 3 bed house in New Eltham, nice and handy for the train and also bus routes to Bromley. Hopefully if all goes well we can pick the keys up on the 14th and begin moving our stuff.

Work's pretty stressful at the moment. I've got a presentation to give tomorrow which is a follow up from the course I did at Loughborough the week before last. I really haven't been able to find the time it has deserved and my 'partner' for it has also found it hard to find time. Plus his style isn't quite the same as mine and its been quite difficult to pull together as a team. Still, hopefully I can get tomorrow out of the way without any major mishaps.

Also at work I am involved in a demonstrator for Ford - a new Transit we are bidding for. We are replacing an existing Transit Fuel Injection System with ours and attempting to make it drive well and be emissions compliant etc to sell our stuff to them. My main involvement is on the test rigs demonstrating our systems' capability, injection pressures, multiple injections, injector needle opening/closing delay and rate of injection characteristics etc. Then when we've done all our tests at Gillingham we'll be handing over the kit to Ford and I will help them get it up and running for their own work. Which I have found out is going to be at Aachen in Germany and not at Dunton in Essex which is where I used to work. Still, it'll be nice to go on a trip again. I'm having a meeting in the morning with my bosses to find out what's expected.

Busy busy time.
