after what seems like forever - and to me, it is forever! - i have somewhat of a social life. right now i'm in montreal, backstage pass in hand, waiting to watch the performance of a lovely young lady. amy lee is back on tour and i have the honor of seeing her first show. knock 'em dead, kiddo!
i'll be home by morning. i've been invited to a picnic by a lovely young woman and her son, and i'm really looking forward to it.
so i won't get a wink of sleep between then and now. i don't care. i'd be too nervous and excited to sleep anyway.
it's good to be able to talk to people again. not sure what else to say other than that. at least not yet. i'm still too wary of everything. not sure how to explain that, either, but i am.
