Palm Springs question

hey all you experience travelers out there.... i'm looking into a getaway conference/vacation in Palm Springs during the middle of November. flights directly to into PSP are ridiculously expensive, but flights to LAX (thanks to VirginAtlantic) are super cheap

we flew into San Diego and then drove down to Palm Springs one year. I have done the LA to PS and the traffic was ridiculous but i didnt know where i was going so maybe there were ways around it. SD to PS wasn't bad.

I would avoid LAX if possible. The two times I went down we flew into Orange County Airport and drove to Palm Springs. Our hosts said this avoided the worse of LA weekend traffic.

Check out Ontario Airport, which is halfway between LAX and Palm Springs.

I agree, it's cheaper and much closer
