aloniel Posted a list in her journal of 190 movies. The creators of the list state that it you've seen more than 90 of them, you are a movie geek. I perused the list (I have seen 79 of them that I remember) and found it to be heavily biased toward recent films and cult films, ie. the kind of things teenagers who use livejournal would rent at sleepovers, etc.
I thought a better test of movie geekery would be to count how many of the top 100 films at the Internet Movie DataBase (www.imdb.com) you've seen. (If you wanted to go for movie snobbery you could look at the American Film Institute's best 100 films ever, but I believe that only contains American films.)
SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 90 movies, you have no life. Mark the ones you've seen. There are 190 movies on this list. Put your score in header and repost.
