Hee. I can imagine. I couldn't have done it. I have a big chunky 2000 page book called 'The Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism' to use. It's got excerpts from a ridiculous amount of literary theorists, critics and philosophers from Plato to the Postmodernists. Cost a pretty penny getting it imported over here, but man did I drool when I got my hands on it. So much good stuff to touch on, so little time.
