Ember - Undead Mage - Plushie
After over a month of work, I'm very happy to post a doll in tribute to my sister and her World of Warcraft character, Ember. Ember is a level 60 Female Undead Mage on the Emerald Dream (RP-PVP) server.
While Ember is still in the process of gearing herself in Tier 2 equipment, I chose to use the Netherwind set for the doll. As you might expect, it's extremely difficult to match the ingame colors with the materials I had available and to capture the detail of the outfit in a 9" doll (10.5" with the Netherwind Crown). So I did my best to come as close as possible to the design with what time and resources I had available.
The Netherwind Crown is pinned on and can be removed to simulate the WoW interface option to hide your helmet. Since it was impossible to have the floating orbs, I settled on just resting them on top of the shoulders. The gloves and boots are both also present on the doll, but you won't be able to see them in these photos.
I only hope that my sister enjoys this doll as much as I enjoyed planning and creating it. And now she will have a stand-in for when she needs to go AFK!
