I haven't updated in a while. Might as well do it now.
Had a good vacation. Honestly, I didn't game as much as I originally planned. Kinda sat around and zoned out most of the time. Mostly slept. About 40% of my vacation was gaming. Within that 40%, I did play a lot of cool games:
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (DS) - Awesome game. Still need to beat Boss Attack.
Trace Memory (DS) - Really fun puzzle game. Some of those puzzles were awesome, like the stamp puzzle and the one involving to slightly close the DS to reflect the light from the top screen on to the bottom screen to solve the puzzle. Beat it in one sitting, though.
Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS) - This game, you get to be a doctor performing surgery. Oh yeah. This is probably one of the coolest games of the DS. This game used the touch screen really well. You do surgery ranging from removing shards of glass out of a patient's heart to removing tumors to zapping polyps off a singer's trachea with a laser. Had a co-worker play the game. He was removing a tumor and said to me, "...I think I sprayed water this guy's pancreas." I was like, wtf? "Which tool did you use?" "The one on the top left." I burst out laughing. "You used the laser, you idiot!" We laughing really loud because he zapped a hole in the patient's pancreas. LOL XD
Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) - A really cool game. The fights are really dramatic. Especially the flying ones.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (PSP) - FPS for the PSP. Not that bad. The load times suck.
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP) - Really good game. Uses GTA3 maps so I somewhat familiar with the routes. Although the police bribes are in different locations. Haven't gotten to play multiplayer, yet.
Both of my PSP game involved updating my PSP. >_< So goodbye emulators. It was fun while it lasted. Was kinda fun to play Chrono Trigger and Sim City on the go, too. *sigh* Oh well.
During my vacation, I bought a Tifa Advent Children figure. Could got a Vincent figure, but meh. Rather have a female action figure then a male one who can be mistake for female. XD
When I got back, I was surprised that my job's call volume kinda toned down. Most of the day involved most of us in a Aux state that doesn't take calls. But that was last week. Now we're getting slammed with calls every 30 minutes. Those dirty bastards.
Watched the latest Naruto episode with Konohamaru. It sucked. Not even going to bother enter what it was all about. One Piece was okay. Kinda putting together the story arc.
Started to read the Death Note manga series. Holy crap! Really good series. The Death Note is a notebook that you would put a person's name and they would die. The owner must know the person's real name and there face in order for them to die. The owner can specify a certain death, like gets into a car accident or die of blood loss. If there is no specified death, the person's who is to die dies of a heart attack 40 seconds after the name has been written. The series is about Raito (also know as Kira to the world) who finds a Death Note (yeah, I said 'a' Death Note meaning there are others who find one) and uses to rid the world of criminals to change the world. Interpol notices that 100+ criminals are dying of heart attacks (Raito doesn't really specify deaths) in a month. Interpol contacts genius detective known as 'L'. L (not his real name) has helped Interpol in the past with difficult mysteries and cases. When L has vowed, to the public, to capture Kira, Raito has to find a way to kill L before his is to be caught by him. The moves between Kira and L remind me of a chess match. Both thinking ahead. Really far ahead. When one makes a move, you don't know who has the upper hand. Really awesome series.
I think this should cover up the days I haven't been updating my LJ. Got to go to sleep now. G'night.
