[Is busy working over a kettle, trying to make something edible out of all these foreign foods. He was used to cooking in his own time but it was taking some trial and error here. Everything needed to be tasted first in order to learn what sort of flavor the had]

If only we could have brought more supplies from the ship…

Apparently I do. [He laughs] That's what that other girl called it too.

Salt makes everything better... food wise, I mean.

Does it? [Thinks about it] Come to think of it, a lot of the recipes I've looked at asked for that stuff.

Are you a chef?

[That triggers another light-hearted laugh] A chef, no.. but I did a lot of the cooking during my time on the NSX.

[Realizes she might not have heard of it]

The NSX is a [Warship] space ship from the planet of Autozam.

Space ship.

[There's a long pause here as she tries to decide how to respond to that. She finally just goes with the truth.]

This place gets weirder and weirder with a side of cool.

[He finds the pause curious but waits for her to collect her thoughts on the matter]

Come again?

You mean they don't have space ships in your world?

Not so much. We're in the barely getting off the ground stage of space travel... compared to Star Trek and Star Wars and Firefly and tv shows like that.

[Okay you totally lost him with the television shows]

Star Trek.. Star Wars? I'm sorry but I'm not following you.

[Least the first part made sense]

That's a shame.

Oh. See? That's the price you pay for space travel, you lose all the good sci-fi television shows and movies.

I suppose so. [Geo sounded unsure of his response]

So where are you from?

And no one wants a world without Firefly.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama, United States... [And then thoughtfully...] Earth. Do you know where any of that is?

This.. uh Firefly thing must be pretty .. [entertaining? enlightening?] It must be something!

Can't say that I do. I have met a few girls from Earth in my own time and many more since arriving here. Earth must be an enormous planet to support all of these inhabitants with large countries. Japan especially.

[Lol he's met mostly Japanese people]

Japan does have a lot of people. Earth has more than a lot of people. You've only met girls from Earth? Cause there are boys too.

Where are you from?

There was one boy... [One.. sort of effeminate boy... hmm...] .. but I only met three young girls back in Cephiro. I'm sure there must be others.

Boys that is.

I'm from the planet of Autozam. I doubt you've heard of it.
