[Clears his throat. The camera is focused fairly close to Geo‘s face, perhaps too close. You can barely see some indications that his is outside, and standing in front of a brick building.] Okay, I’m not really good at this sort of thing-- but.

I’d like to announce the opening of a new business! [He swings the ( Read more... )

If you're going to open a new shop, shouldn't you give out free samples so people know it's worth it?

[Smiles] Truth be told-- I've already arranged for that.

Hmmm, it's a little early but... if you stop by I suppose there's no harm and starting the promotion a little early.

Then you should be advertising that, but-

I don't mind coming by, since it's not far or anything. [N-no, this isn't a grin, really!]

Yeah, I probably should be. This running your own business thing-- is a first for me. I'd appreciate any suggestions you can offer.

Great! I'll be sure to save something for you.

Sorry, I'm not really any kind of business expert. The free samples thing just seemed like common sense.

[As is evident in the video, she's on the move!]

That's alright, you don't have to be. The opinions of potential consumers are just as important as a business owners. Probably more so!

[Thinks it's pretty cute that she's already on her way] So, what's your name little lady?

Hm...Yeah, I guess you have to suck up to the customers if you want to make money.

[Not exactly impressed at being called "little".] ...Rita.

I wasn't thinking of it quite like that.. [Sucking up? I just thought it was being more considerate of what others would like..]

[Geo can't help it. He's tall. Everyone is little to him] Ree-tah. [He sounded it out. Must be another Earth name. They always sounded weird like that] That's a nice name. I'm Geo. Geo Metro!

[Sorry, Geo. Rita's just kind of a jerk--a short one, too, so Geo's going to be really tall in comparison.

She does notice the way he sounds it out, as well as the strangeness of his own name.] I'm guessing they don't have names like that where you're from.

[It's all good. He'll live. He's actually quite patient with people]

Was it that obvious? Nope, they really don't. Are you from Earth? [Might as well test the theory]

No, but I've heard a few things about it. I don't really get why it's so popular around here...What about you?

[Geo is completely surprised by this] You -- aren't? Where are you from then?

I'm from a planet called Autozam.

[She notes the name of his planet, unfamiliar to her but not especially important.] The place I'm from is called Terca Lumireis. It shouldn't be that much of a surprise that my home's somewhere different, you know.

Terca Lumireis. Nope, I haven't heard of it before.

I suppose you're right. I was just so used to everyone being from Earth that I took it for granted that others might come from different planets. Earth must be a crowded place if it can hold all the people I've met from there.

What's your planet like?

So you know a lot of people from that world? From what I understand, a lot of them come from different eras or alternate versions of that planet, so it might not be as crowded as you're thinking.

Hm...For starters, it's populated mostly by humans, with smaller populations of Kritya and Spirits--as far as sentient life goes, anyway. Most of the planet's crawling with monsters, too.

I've seen a lot anyway. I can't say that I know that many personally. [There were the magic knights but-- that's about it] I hadn't taken time into consideration. That would make a difference.

What's a Kritya? Spirits-- like those rune gods the Magic Knights have in Cephiro? [You're losing him] Sounds like a dangerous place to live.
