Hooray!
Yesterday me and Markus went to THE PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA show!!!
It was brilliant and easily the most brilliant concert at WPI ever!
Matt Nathanson was the opener and he had these really nice, emotional songs and then insanely hilarious banter inbetween songs. Just off-the-wall. He had a cello player named Matt Fish with him, who was a loosewristed perverted bastard. I spent a lot of the time that they were on stage staring at Nathanson's crotch, because he must have like two socks in there.
The Presidents just rocked soooooooooooo much. It was insane. They are sooooooo good! It was an excellent time. They played new material, and man its damn good. So happy that they are together. I told this to Chris Ballew after the show. He was so nice he stayed and shook hands and signed autographs.
GET THIS HE WAS WEARING A SHONEN KNIFE SHIRT! I was like : "cool shirt dude" and he was like "thanks man" and I was like "Shonen Knife fucking rocks" and he was like "damn right they do"
Got an autograph on my ticket stub too.
Quality interaction all around.
This weekend has been a glorious success, and the middle of the week weekend is starting today. HOORAY WPI!
