Hee!
I usually notice it if I'm watching a film at home, but in the theater I'm too caught up to go "Hey, there it is!"
I love that a sound editor's in-joke is so widely used as a matter of fact inclusion in so many films!

Thanks for cluing me in to this! I had never heard of the Wilhelm Scream before.
Now I will be listening for it, along with other classic sound effects, like "Castle Lightning".
