changes
I just finished my gradschool applications!! I'm only applying to 2 schools so hopefully I'll get into at least one of them. I am really excited about potentially becoming a city planner. It has been really nice to see how I've sort of stumbled into this profession and now I can't imagine doing anything else. If I don't get accepted I'm going to stay here and try to get a job with the department of justice or the DIA doing international relations work. I would really love to get involved with a non-profit or one of these department working on human trafficking cases.
So lots of big changes might be right around the corner. I should know something definite about gradschool in March and I will start looking for a job around that time if the schools fall through. I'm at peace knowing that either way I could be doing something very exciting by early next year.
In other news, I met a boy with a beard and I find him very attractive and he is officially my text-message boyfriend. I am still very annoyed with the whole communication via text-message thing but at the same time it keeps me interested bc he lives 2 hours away and he's kept in touch with me for over 3 weeks now. He comes into town for business so I think I can handle a "relationship" on this level perhaps. He also calls from time to time but we usually miss each others calls. Go figure. Anyway, this is kind of a big deal for me and I find it fun that he has a beard and that he's from Denver. I think it's all very rugged and manly and yet sweet bc he's like a teddy bear. Hah... listen to me. I've lost my mind.
