Because locking it doesn't make it secret, just not accessible ...

('security' via obfuscation isn't really security, mearly the illusion of 'security')

Having said that if you don't know the secret, well *I* can't possibly tell you.

I think I may have said too much already as clearly you can't see the secret ...

However, since most of modern crytography uses open transmission of data - just because you can read it doesn't mean you can understand it !

But an illusion within an illusion is but the stuff of dreams (stuff off dreams sounds disturbed so I will read as a typo), so for a thing to be more tangible than itself it cannot be real and thus itself naught but illusion.

The world is not illusion, mearly your perception of the world, illusion. The world is as the world is, you just do not see nor hear it as it is - your sanity precludes this!
