Tuesday and mildly fuzzy.

So the good news is that it’s back to work day. The bad news is it’ still all rather fuzzy. I have apparently slid quietly from mild alcohol abuser to functional alcoholic. That gentle and well oiled slide has been over a matter of several months, probably years but still, here I am. Having consumed far too much over the course of yesterday worryingly capable of getting up after several hours sleep - it seemed a good idea last night to watch West World once more - and head into work.

The weekend itself was rather spiffing though. Friday I dozed and ran a game for some reprobates that I have known for far too long. Cooked a meal at the end of the night which HW and our sudden house guests seemed to enjoy, or perhaps that was just the copious quantities of booze that was there to ply them?

Saturday I was pleasantly surprised by Neverwhere. Which I suspect if more organised will be one of the better games of the past few years.

Sunday went with HW and Mr. FA to view the 3 Emperors, a vast exhibition of which the general consensus was that by the time you got to the “literati section” it was time to say no more and leave. There is definitely a finite number of Chinese stylised paintings any one person can view in a given period. I suspect that there may be a governing equation for this phenomenon. And yesterday, well, yesterday was good, but I suspect I will pay for it all later today.

So this morning I arrive to find some, numpty on site from my glorious company. Handing out access passes like confessionals at the local bordello. That is to say to anyone, and not asking for any names. Alarms are slowly ringing in the background, but they are easy to fix. Large numbers of areas haven’t been unlocked and I’m fairly sure when I get round to caring later on I’ll find some areas just flapping in the breeze. And yet I still can’t get myself worked up enough to care.

In better news sometime next Saturday morning I go to watch some loon in a big hat attempt to drown the young son of a couple of friends of mine. Sunday is day of much snoozing and running one of the mini Amber games - much fun.
