TOS reactions: Requiem for Methuselah
Not one of my favourites (the love story was NOT believable) but I have to forgive everything for that ending. Like, find any clearer way to say that Spock is in love with Kirk?! And shut up McCoy, you're being mean to Spock. After McCoy gives Spock the "you'll never love anyone" speech and leaves, Spock totally contradicts him by erasing Kirk's memory of his doomed love affair with the android to save him from the pain - a gesture of love, neh? (Or creepy possessiveness, but I prefer to go with the sweet loving) And during the whole episode Spock tries to give the captain subtle hints that everything is not what it looks like and this can't end well, but of course Kirk doesn't get subtle. The whole "let's mind-meld with the sleeping captain and erase this memory" moment is really gentle (despite being morally questionable). Oh, Spock.
I just realized I have only 6 episodes of TOS left to watch ;___; Sadface. But then I can finally get started on the movies, which should be epic.
