Yuletide letter 2009!
Dear Yule Goat,
Thank you so much for offering to write something for me! It’s my first time participating in Yuletide and I’m nervous and excited about it. To make your task a little easier, here are some details about my likes/dislikes. You can also find most of my recently written fic on my journal. I haven’t written anything I couldn’t handle reading, so it may be helpful.
Likes.
- Slash of any rating. It’s what I like to read and write, but gen’s okay too if you feel uncomfortable with it.
- Feels weird saying that I like incest, but with certain pairings… it just works.
- Violence, action, adventure.
- Romantic/cute stuff as long as it’s in character. Too much sugar and I’ll start to feel sick.
- Snarky characters.
Dislikes.
- (Main) character death.
- Hopelessness. I’m okay with some angst, even a lot, as long as there’s some hope. I guess I always want a happy ending… But my definition of happy can be pretty twisted.
- Rape, mpreg, watersports.
- Melodrama.
- Exaggerated Irish accents.
- Referring to Connor as the older brother. It throws me off every time I see it in fic because hey, twins? (Yes, the last two are Boondock Saints specific.)
- BMFM threesome porn that’s totally without a plot. You might be able to pull it off, but I’ve just seen too many bad examples in that fandom…
I know I made some pretty specific requests, but they are really just suggestions and examples of the kind of thing I like reading. Feel free to follow your muse, I’d much rather read a piece you felt inspired to write than something forced!

RequestDetail1: Anything with twincest would be great! You don’t have to follow my prompts but here are a few suggestions: - I like action and violence, so what about one/both of the boys having been captured by vengeful criminals? Violence/torture follows (no permanent damage/actual non-con - threatening with non-con is fine, and the scene could be quite scary/horrible), but in the end they find a clever way to escape and take bloody vengeance on the captors. Or any piece of action really, preferably with twincest. - Simple smut, doesn’t have to be deep and meaningful but preferably with some other idea than pure porn. But, y’know, if the porn’s good enough, who needs a plot? - I like Murphy a lot, so I’d love his point of view. - Bonus points and cookies for not ignoring the brothers issue or religion.

RequestDetail2: I’m shameless and want BMFM slash. Throttle/Vinnie or Throttle/Modo or heck, even a threesome would be fine, as long as Throttle’s in it. A fic dealing with Throttle’s eyesight (can he/does he want to use his glasses during sex)? Young freedom fighters finding ways to keep warm through the cold nights of Mars? Oh the possibilities.

RequestDetail3: I love Richard and any fic about him would be awesome and slash even better. I have this idea of him going undercover as a gay prostitute - go with that wherever you want! You can include other characters than the ones I've chosen, but of course Rex has to be at least mentioned and I'd love to hear Stockinger's comments on Richard's mission. The undercover thing could be something else too. Or something about his youth (apparently he was becoming a criminal). Young Richard in love with another guy who's maybe a bad influence on him?
