This place is unusual and hazardous to one's health. I might wonder if I weren't in a far worse place if it weren't for the noticeable lack of brimstone.
However, I find myself far more appalled by the poor choices in liquor at the market. It seems I'll be importing my rum from here on. It's some small mercy that they at least carry acceptable brands of whiskey and scotch.
Now that this entire ordeal seems to be near its end, and I confess I was more than content to keep to my flat for the duration of it, I believe it's proper time to begin reviewing everything I intend for classwork. Of course, we all know the trite but true saying of "all work and no play", so I believe a trip in sight-seeing is in order. Previously I had asked for a tour guide, would any of you still be willing to assist a gentleman now that the venture outside is not quite so daunting? I still offer payment in the form of lunch or drinks.
