The Ongoing Saga -- Started Continued... is there an End?
Hello everyone.
I know its been a long time since Ive seriously updated. For the first while after the passing of Justice, I had a great deal of trouble dealing with the things around me. Then came some trouble with my cat Mischief/Pastherneck/Dindin, which ever you choose to call her.
Ill start with that I guess. The cat had a problem awhile back, shortly after the passing of Justice, she began for some unknown reason during the night going poop on the basement floor, each night in a different spot, after giving her another litter box, changing food etc, cleaning compleatly out, vets office, nothing found wrong with her, I decided to try locking her up at night in the back rom where the litterbox is, which seems to be working, locked up overnight = no messes. So stress over that slowly relieving itself, (most stress caused by family threatening to put her down while I was away at work UGH)
Moving on to work. This is my current problem. One which I may be ending sooner then later. Causing me even more stress. Ive been working for the past while towards opening my own kennel (YAY)
Ive been having problems with the newish manager. Who I will refer to as MW (Manager Witch), anyways, Since she started working at my store about 9 months ago we've clashed. Horribly clashed. From the first day "Hi, nice to meet you Im Aileen-Heather" I got glared at, no responce then MW took my cash out sheet checked it and said "Your fine go" Where by I was dismissed... slightly shocked I left thinking maybe she was just stressed from starting in a new store her first time being manager etc.
A few other situations Ive had with her, just to outline some things as to why Im getting to the conclusion. One time, she reprimanded me for being to helpful. The situation being we have paper bags for loose potatoes, you cant see through these thing. So a new cashier asked me for the code, (4072) which I gave her, then since I noticed she didnt check inside the bag, I told her that when she gets those bags she should peek inside of them quickly to make sure they are loose potatoes, and not foiled, or peppers etc which people do put in those bags.
Anyways, apparently this over stepped my bounds and I was being too helpful. That I should of gone to MW, or the asst. Manager NM (nice one who should of gotten the job of manager... because she actually does her job!) To tell them to tell the new cashier, to look inside potatoe bags.
Another situation arose the other day, when I called MW up to help with an irate customer, which she did help with. Now me trying to be polite, remember my manners etc, a few minutes later when I went for my break, I said to WM "thank you for helping me out with that customer" She immidiatly turned on me responding with "Thats MY Job Aileen. The minute she wanted more for her time in returning the product you HAVE to call me up. You should know that!"
I didnt know that thanking someone, and complimenting them for helping was against the law.
These are just a few of the minor run ins Ive had with her, anyways, the point Im sure your getting, is that we dont get along.
Today I went in to get my schedual as usual. And when I looked I saw that for the second week in a row she had schedualed me beyond my availability. Now Ive worked there for 3 years, and Ive never had a problem before with my availability, no one has ever said that what Ive put down was outside what I signed for contract. So as Im supposed to I told MW this, for which I got the responce, WHAT is your availability? making it sound as if Im never available. So I told her, and she went "Im not dealing with it now. Ill look into it tomorrow as to if you HAVE to be available for the shift."
Now to the conclusion of the little vent, over this Ive been to anger and tears over. But if she gives me any fuss tomorrow Im going to quit my job. I cant do it anymore. I just cant, if it takes me a few weeks to find a new job so be it. But I cant play this game anymore. She doesnt like me. I cant stand her. It isnt working. So I guess you'll find out tomorrow
