Blatent ignorance.
That seems to be the subject over the past couple days for me. And how much it gets to me, if there is one thing that seems to get me really rev'd up its blatent ignorance.
For example, one of my friends, we went out with him the other night and his GF shows up with 3 other guys, when she hasnt been able to see him or spend time with him for days because of her "sick grandmother" but when she gets the night "off" she doesnt call him up, she goes out with 3 other males that hes never met? Shows up at the same place as he is with us, and hardly says 2 words to him GAH. But thats not so much ignorant as rude.
This is more to the subject the previous I guess was more a rant because it made me mad. Anywho. today actually just moments ago, Im talking on a chat program, which is chat/voice, so much easier on the wrists, and one of the people in there starts typing over and over again latino = gay. Now this makes me angry to no end, of course I go off the deep end on him since there is NOTHING wrong with being eithor way, And he starts claiming that I dont understand these things because hes talking about his friend who has the online name Latino, adn they always tease him that way. Well of couse he isnt in the conversation so how are we supposed to know. And I still suppose its a blanant lie because I got so angry about it.
Im sorry but its really offensive to me for anyone to call anyone else a derogitory name because of your race or sexual orientation. And for anyone to say anything like that they deserve to get shouted at. No one came to my defence when I was younger and people would tease me. Its how I learned better, that even if you dont know someone if they are getting bullied or call something. It is time to SPEAK UP.
I really appriciate family channel's new commercial, to speak up against violence or "ism's" and bullying. I would never wish any of that even on my worst tormentors.
