---------
The first day they met was nothing special. Everyone was smiling and sharing and it all seemed normal. Almost too normal. Nothing is normal in the music business. The cold pretty boy knew this. The comments only fueled him silently. He acted coy. 'I'm embarrassed.' It was enough to fool the world. All but one.
It seemed natural that the short baby would be his object of choice. He stepped slowly, casually so as not to draw much attention to himself. Not to startle the younger boy. Sixteen. Still so pure.
"Ah hyung..."
Changmin never stood a chance.
A smile and JaeJoong had the boy wrapped around his delicate finger. And that's all it was in the begining. Simple. Clean. JaeJoong showered the boy with affection. He was already begining what could take forever to complete. That was okay. It just made his job more fun.
Changmin was sweet then. Brown eyes large with his seemingly never ending innocence. Mouth ready to burst to his own defense. He had a strong will. He wasn't about to be taken advantage of. This was another quality that drew JaeJoong to him.
It was all so natural. JaeJoong used his looks and charms on the boy. Pale arms wrapped around thin waists and soft words spoken in hushed voices. Words that were barely more than a breath of air over the ear.
The day JaeJoong knew he'd won was a surprise even to him. He at least thought it would take longer than that.
"JaeJoong-hyung..." Changmin had muttered, voice still a bit coarse as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Yes?" JaeJoong asked, dark eyes somehow bright.
"Let's stay like this forever."
As Changmin's arms wrapped around his waist, head resting against his shoulders, JaeJoong had to look away to hide the smirk.
This was going to be fun...
The first time Changmin said the four letter word left JaeJoong in a bit of a shock.
What?
Changmin only frowned at the older male's face, lips pouting. JaeJoong was fairly sure that wasn't what he felt. He could only close his eyes to the boy's pout.
That night was the first that JaeJoong spent trying to get rid of that pout.
Dinner. Teasing. Laughing. No one suspected when Changmin went to shower and JaeJoong went to bed what would happen.
Yunho was contently tying bows in Junsu's hair while he and Yoochun play some game. JaeJoong didn't bother to look and see what it was.
Half breathless, half moaned sounds seem to explode beneath the hot spray of the shower. To JaeJoong, he couldn't care less what Changmin is trying to say. The only word that means anything to him right now is faster.
He's more than happy to fulfil Changmin's wish, body hot and slick against the boys as his hands grip even tighter on his hips. The begining of a scream sounds over the splashing and pants as JaeJoong's body stops just long enough for him to slam his palm over Changmin's mouth.
That scream is famous.
That scream shouldn't be heard right now.
JaeJoong doesn't seem to notice the sharp crack just after the contact nor does he really pay attention to the groan as Changmin arches off the tile, a faint red stream making it's way down towards his back. He's too far gone to care anymore.
He screams the next time Changmin climbs into his bed, arms wrapping and head tucking against his shoulder. He does the first thing he can think of and shoves the boy away from him.
The bandmates stare in half wonder and half annoyance as JaeJoong grabs his blanket and pillow and storms out of the room, leaving a dazed Changmin on his bed. Yunho's hands are securely placed over Bambi's ears.
It wasn't supposed to get this far. JaeJoong shakes his head and tucks the blanket up even further under his nose. His eyes close and he tries to sleep but the sound of socked feet alerts he's not alone anymore.
This repeatition of their...situation is getting boring. He can predict exactly what the boy's going to do.
This look, Changmin's happy and loving. That look and Changmin's pressed against him, hips grinding in a way that could put Yunho or Junsu to shame.
No look and Changmin's playing with the food he always loves and wondering what he did wrong.
"JaeJoongie..."
"Don't call me that."
"Hyung..."
"Shut up."
"Love you..."
And JaeJoong snaps. He sits up, covers falling off his chest and into his lap. He takes a second to admire the look of shock expressed clearly on Changmin's face. Poor baby.
"I hate you. Go away."
"Wha-"
JaeJoong half laughs, dark eyes looking away then back as if considering something. He can see the hurt in Changmin's eyes before the words even leave his mouth.
"Did you think I'd play with you forever?"
JaeJoong's not the least bit upset when Changmin doesn't come to breakfast the next morning. None of the others say anything because it's not like them. JaeJoong is thankful that he's the one always making sure people eat at the same time. He knows Yunho won't let Changmin go too long without food anyway.
Yunho's stupid in that way, JaeJoong thinks.
JaeJoong's wiping the table while the other three are in the living room. They're all huddled together quietly discussing some new drama and all JaeJoong can think of doing is rolling his eyes.
He doesn't even look up when Changmin steps out of the bedroom, looking incredibly worse for wear.
The boy stops just short of the table and JaeJoong straightens, eyes locking with Changmin's for a moment.
Desire. Love. A brief glimpse of insanity.
JaeJoong knows he's got him.
Changmin doesn't seem to care.
He's heading back into the bedroom and knows soon JaeJoong will be following.
He can't say no.
JaeJoong thinks this might be what love is like.
The power is intoxicating and nothing has changed. Yet, things aren't boring. It's easier than ever to control the younger bo- no, he's more of a man now.
Those once innocent eyes that stare up as he bites his lip to hold in the scream no longer hold that light. They are now as dark as cold as JaeJoong's.
To know that he did that only makes him burn up further until he's sure he'll pass out.
Changmin screams his name and it's all over.
"I love you..."
"Not me," is all JaeJoong says before walking away to clean up.
The shower is hot, almost painful as the water beats down on his back. He pushes the blond strands from his face and huffs loudly when they just fall back, sharp and clumped together, into his eyes.
He doesn't flinch when the shower curtain is pulled back to reveal Changmin. He's not surprised to see the boy fully clothed by now. He almost smirks at the way the boy's eyes are red and still rimming with tears.
"Do you really not love me?"
"You know I don't."
"Then wh-"
"You do it to yourself."
JaeJoong is surprised when Changmin steps into the shower and shoves him against the tile. He winces at the chill and narrows his eyes at the younger male.
His heart begins to race as Changmin presses his lips against his and growls low in his throat as the mans hands fumble over his body.
Not like this.
He shoves, eyes closing when the spray bounces off Changmin's wet shirt and into his face.
JaeJoong swears he can hear laughing and vows to get that brat back for that later as his hands tear at the shower curtain.
He growls as strong hands find his waist and jerk and shove him back against the tile.
If he's bruised, he swears he'll kill that brat. His eyes widen in horror as he feels the boy pressing up against him and his brain clicks that Changmin must have literally ripped off his clothes.
He winces and opens his mouth to scream when a fist hits his jaw and he submits against the hard wall in a moment blinded by pain.
"I love you...," is the last thing JaeJoong hears as he feels himself jerked then shoved again against the tile, wincing as his head hits the tile and his body is invaded.
This is love?
JaeJoong is left shivering under the spray once Changmin's finished. He isn't sure if he should feel horrified or pleased that despite it all that boy can't resist him.
Changmin's strength wasn't something JaeJoong anticipated.
Now it seemed that he might not be in control anymore. He laughs weakly and glares at Yunho when he enters the bathroom.
"JaeJoongie...the water's bound to be cold by now."
JaeJoong tilts his head back, not even sure if he could stand if he wanted to. He's never felt more weak and broken in his life...but he still has that boy.
That boy is still his. He can still get that boy with a single look.
Changmin will pay.
JaeJoong almost forgets his silent promise in the following days. Changmin seems to have not even noticed what happened and is suddenly back to the sweet and almost too innocent boy that JaeJoong first had fleeting thoughts of. How many years has it been?
He's being spoiled. He knows he is. After all his work to make Changmin exactly what he wanted, he feels he deserves this.
Changmin seems more hopelessly in love than ever before and JaeJoong can't help but smile when Changmin wraps his arms around his waist from behind.
He sighs at the feel of the younger man's lips on his neck.
This is the Changmin he wanted to keep forever. This is the Changmin that is his and only his.
Changmin's hands touch over his stomach and he feels that familar want. That desire that's reserved for him. He turns in the hold and it doesn't matter where they are.
All JaeJoong knows is that he needs Changmin right now or else he'll die.
He doesn't even notice the faint smirk on Changmin's lips as he kisses him, hands fisting in the now taller man's shirt.
All JaeJoong cares about is that he has Changmin.
"Come on." Changmin starts whining a few days later.
JaeJoong barely registers where he's going, only that he's following Changmin's voice.
He glares once he spots the boy sitting on the kitchen floor, a pot sitting hot on the stove.
JaeJoong steps forward about to smack the younger man when Changmin looks up at him suddenly serious.
"Fix me something to eat? I burnt the water."
Suddenly it's so stupid and so odd and so Changmin that JaeJoong laughs.
Changmin stands with a bounce and watches, eyes transfixed on every move JaeJoong makes.
JaeJoong doesn't even notice until things are too late.
He wakes one night panting, hands flying together to check his wrists. No marks at all.
He wipes his forehead and tries to sink into the matress just when he hears someone or something duck down beside his bed.
"JaeJoongie... You were screaming..."
Yunho could only yawn after while JaeJoong stared at him blankly. Damn dreams.
"Leader-sshi... It's nothing." He forces a smile even in the dark room.
Yunho mumbles something and walks the short distance back to his bed, arm pulling the deer tight against his chest.
JaeJoong takes a few breaths and heads for Changmin's bed, mumbling something about a workout.
In the dark JaeJoong again misses Changmin's smirk as he climbs out of bed.
JaeJoong isn't sure when he let the roles switch completely. He humors on the idea that it was sometime after Changmin got so tall it was hard to keep him pinned. Perhaps, it happened when Changmin got strong enough to lift JaeJoong and press him into the wall.
Though, it was probably just when Changmin decided that the weight room was a nice place for sex.
JaeJoong is sure that he should be moaning or screaming as he arches into Changmin's thrusts but he can barely breathe.
He's certain he doesn't want to die from this, though as his body sparks and catches flame, he doesn't care.
He's doing everything he can to keep Changmin doing exactly what he is until he bursts and collapses in a pile on the hardwood floors.
Changmin's enjoying every minute. Maybe even too much as lets his eyes drift to the side, catching that faint glimpse of the mirrors of the other wall. JaeJoong's watching him.
He's caught.
The next day JaeJoong walks around with an air of accomplishment and ease. He fixes breakfast for all the members and sends them out for groceries. Yunho's more than happy to go and ensure that proper food is bought for his members. Junsu's excited to wear his new hat. Yoochun's just happy to get out of the apartment.
JaeJoong is waiting when Changmin comes out of the shower, towel still rubbing roughly over his hair as he collapses on the couch with a sigh.
JaeJoong is certain he knows exactly what he wants now that they have the place to himself.
He knows it's crazy but as he steps to straddle Changmin on the couch, settling onto his lap, he can't help himself.
"I love you."
He mistakes Changmin's knowing smirk for a smile and leans in to kiss him.
Only JaeJoong doesn't get what he wants. His lips meet with Changmin's hand and his eyes search the other male's face for a moment.
"Stop."
One word is all JaeJoong needs to lean back.
"What?" That's all he can bring himself to say.
"It's over." Changmin replies with, shoulders shrugging will he goes back to rubbing his head.
JaeJoong's eyes widen and he quickly stands. He doesn't try to process the constricting feeling in his chest when Changmin's eyes don't even meet his. He takes a deep breath, mouth opening to yell when Changmin's eyes finally look up and silence him.
"You didn't think we'd play together forever?"
