I am a bit overwhelmed since I last checked in with you all. I have been unable to return to work in the medical leave time that they have allotted me in order to recover. Since my catastrophic leave was never approved, I had no income coming in - insurance all dried up on me. Luckily my parents threw me a lifeline and I am currently still

It was a strategic retreat to a degree - mostly a means to an end where my parents expressed not only a desire to aid me but I wanted to spend as much useful life we all have together. They are no spring chickens - neither am I for that matter and want to spend the better parts of our relatively healthy lives together. I cannot believe that I have my immediate and extended family pulling together so much for me, it makes me feel like a celebrity and so thoroughly guilty at the same time. I just do not know which way to sort my feelings other than to thank everyone graciously and treat matters like I was a guest. However - there are certain limits; as I have expressed imminent domain on the area that constitutes my bedroom. Nobody, not even the cat may enter without permission. Oh, and if anyone was wondering, my pet kitty Brokk survived the trip well and is adjusting well to the new home. He's not quite got the idea that this is his permanent home just yet, but I will give it another 2 weeks before he's good. He misses my former roommate, Prismo terribly. Those two had a bond that was amazing!
