Fellow Valar? Can we do something about this bauble Silmaril situation? The angst is giving me a headache. :S

*puts a flask of coffee and a plate of biscuits on a trolley at the back*

Ah. :) Merci.

*sighs* Feanor is insistent?

So it would seem. I can sense Maglor angst from a mile away. There's definately strife over there.

Ai.

*thinks* 'Twould be unwise for him to have custody of it. But to unmake it when two are yet lost? *shakes head* Neither option is preferred.

*nods* Agreed. He doesn't deserve custody, not after what he and his family did...and the light was never his to capture in the first place as much as I admire his ingenuity in doing so.

What ever happens, that light must be preserved somehow. :S

He doesn't think it should have been found so soon. Probably wouldn't have been if he'd disguised it with something a little better than mud. >.<

Couldn't he have put some hideous, giant, sea-creature on it as a guard? Like a giant platypus or something?

Only one is still lost, right honey? Earendil has one, so to speak.

True, so we are sort of caretakign one as it is...What if...what if we made Feanor a warden of it? Keep it in a location of our choosing, he supervises it but is working for us. How's that sound? As a stop-gap solution until the third one shows up?

I have no problem with that. A good compromise.

Works for me. Besides. It'll give them something to direct all that warfare and tactics towards.
