...it would be helpful to know what you're what-ing about, but i shall attempt a response anyway:

it's a fragment of a story about a team of superheroes ()that will probably never get written because there's NO PLOT

and

james fell asleep leaning against elliot while they were sitting next to each other on the couch during the debriefing after a big bad-guy take-down.

...they're playing hearts, and he just shot the moon, except I wrote it badly so you can't tell that's what's going on.

And it is a fragment, so all the important explain-y bits aren't there.
