Catalina

So this weekend my mom, sister and i had a mini vacation to Dana Point and Catalina island.  We stayed a block or two away from the Dana Point Harbor at a Holiday Inn Express.  Getting there was easy, we were able to avoid all the traffic both ways.  First day we got settled in the hotel and then drove around alittle before heading to the harbor to find out where to get on the "ferry" to Catalina Island and just look around.  My mom and sister ended up doing some shopping.  After we went to Ralphs and got some dinner, i had rice and lunchables pizza.  Eating has gotten easyier now that more time has gone by after getting my wisdom teeth removed.  Im just worried about getting food in my stiches or somthing.  Second day we went rode the "ferry" to the city of Avalon on Catalina Island.  This was the best part of the trip if you ask me, bookin' it across the open water, beautiful sun all day.  Avalon is cool because its a small like port city thing built into the hills and you can walk every where.  There is literaly no cars, the main motorized transportation is golf carts.  And the city is like a typical beach town thing is guess, palm trees, sun, harbor, water, sand, buildings on top of buildings, people.  I wish i had taken my long board with me so i could just skate through the city.  There was a resturant built into the harbor alittle and we had lunch there, the burger was the same as everywhere else but the people were nice and it was outside and stuff.  We took an underwater tour thing but it wasnt that great, if i could of done somthing different i would of gone on and inland tour because there are buffalo on Catalina Island and we didnt have time to do that tour.  After the water thing we just kinda walked around, my sis and mom did some more shopping and it was cool.  They got alittle bored near the end but it was cool just to be somewhere different and interesting even if i was just chillin'.  We hit the boat back at like 7 and then ate dinner and went to bed.  I dont really burn but i got sunburned pretty good this time.  My forearm is alittle red but just my forearm, not my hand or my upper arm and im alittle red on my forehead.  My nose does get sunburned though and i wasnt wearing any sunscreen so its all like blistered now, lol.  Im going to paint myself green and become a witch.  Yea so on the last day we checked out and stuff but before we left we went back to the harbor, my mom wanted me to buy somthing because she spent all this money on her and my sister.  There was a shop that sold traditional hawaiian stuff, like jewelry and clothes aswell as the tourist stuff.  I ended up with a Ukulele and somthing for Meaghan, im going to focus on somthing different this school year instead of video games.  So yea that was my trip, it was awesome and i came out of it feeling really good :D :D :D :D

Last year or so Adam, Mikey and I took a trip up too Anaheim for Blizzcon and had a blast.  Going on this trip made me want to do that again, get out more
