Guns N' Metallica
My officemate was falling asleep on the jeep this morning while listening to Coheed and Cambria. He reached this part:
"...You stormed off to scar the armada
Like Jesus played martyr..."
POP!
He woke up, looked around, and then heard another POP!!! He looked left and there, two meters away, was a man in a short sleeved light maroon polo pointing a gun at something. The gun looked like this:
One second later a pickup truck passed by that looked like this:
Except there were two holes in the back window, and two dead Government employees inside.
At about the same time, I was falling asleep on the bus when something caught my ear. It was a faint guitar sound and when I looked around, the bus TV was playing this:
Soon after I started singing along and the words went like this:
"So close no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters..."
These were the events that defined this morning. I think my officemate's experience was a bit more significant, but hey! You don't see Metallica on the bus TV very often, now do you?!
