Once again, it's time for our Friday movie! And what else could I put up this week but a fantastic music video about women's suffrage to the tune of Bad Romance? The music is well done, the video is well done, the message is well done

I teared when the young delegate saw the note pinned to his jacket by his mother, because this is the woman who gave him life, who likely mended his jacket and who is begging him to be her voice, so she can have her own voice. He is being told to possibly sacrifice his career and he's scared and so very young, likely around my age.

And that resolute look he gets in his eyes, he LOVES his mother, darn it!

Yeah, there's actually a lot of power in the visuals here. Hollywood could learn a thing or two about effective storytelling from this video.

I really agree, there's so much good subtle acting and amazing storytelling, and none of it beats us over the head.
