COOL THINGS THE NETWORKING HURRICANE OF DAVID AND VICTOR DID TODAY:

Jun 28, 2007 00:03

**Hung out at the W Hotel and met Don Cheadle and Kirby Dick (director of "This Film is Not Yet Rated")
**Talked with Davis Guggenheim (director of "An Inconvenient Truth") again -- he remembered me! He's also interested in helping us out if he can.
**Scored free passes to the after-party of the premiere of "Transformers" and met Michael Bay (director of "Transformers", "The Rock", "The Island", etc.). We now have his e-mail address.
**Talked with a couple of young filmmakers behind a project called "The One-Second Film". Became producers.

Plus, I've made up my mind. I think when I am ready to get my Ph.D. I am going to Berkeley. Seriously. Everyone I've ever met from there seems to be awesome. They're all multilingual and interesting and ambitious, most of the women are real-world gorgeous, and and the place is a hub of progressive, disability-friendly creativity.

And I wouldn't even have to leave California weather.
