The Quest for Quests
Since I was level 10 I really liked quests. I always wondered what various ??? on the ground were and every time I got a rare ex quest item I wanted to unload it by doing the appropriate quest. As soon as I turned 30 I did all advanced job quests before even turning 31, and soon I had max fame in all towns without the need to ever repeat the same quest twice. Much time has passed, but a few quests still escape me. Not counting a few quests for other jobs AF1s, the total number of quests in FFXI is about 369. Of these, I completed 360/369 so far and the few ones left (9 quests) are a little hard to complete.
If you are about to do any of these quests on Diabolos server please send me a tell, i'm definitely interested..
Here is what i am missing, for the record:
2 loooong fishing ones
"The Rivalry" (and the follow up repairing quest "The Immortal Lu Shang")
"Indomitable Spirit" (for the ebisu fishing rod... soo hard)
2 weirder xp escorts
"The Big One"
"All by myself"
remake of CoP fights
"Tango with a Tracker" (and the follow up "Requiem of Sin")
"Return to the Depths"
Upgrading my signed yagudo headgear (will i lose the signature?)
"A Moral Manifest?"
Also, a few quests that are repeatable that i still didn't get every item for are diabolos (only got earring and summon), and the empty memories quest (I still need/want a dia wand and a stone gorget).
Finally, 5 maps still escape me: promyvion-holla,mea,dem,vahzl, and garden of ru'hmet.
All this is up until the Feb.20 update and the Apr.18 expansion which will give me more to do :)
