Make Your Voice Heard!

Sep 30, 2008 14:20

Make your voice heard by submitting a question for the upcoming presidential town hall debate on October 7th. Make sure presidential candidates Senators John McCain and Barack Obama are asked questions about Darfur and their plans to end genocide.

Some ideas for questions are:

Darfur is the first crisis that the U.S. has declared a "genocide" while it is ongoing. Therefore, what is the moral imperative to respond once such a declaration is made, and how should the U.S. respond?
What multilateral or unilateral steps will your administration take to bring peace to Sudan and end the Darfur genocide?
In what way would your approach to ending the Darfur genocide differ from that of President Bush?
The deadline to submit questions is October 2nd. Submit your question today on www.mydebates.org,

INSTRUCTIONS:

Go to www.mydebates.org.
Click "Continue as a Guest" or, log in to your MySpace account.
Click the blue "Submit a Question" button in the top right corner.
Fill out the form and submit your question. (There's one hitch: the pull-down menu doesn't have a foreign policy option, so please choose "Homeland Security."
Deadline to submit questions: October 2nd

Next presidential debate: October 7th

Keep building the permanent anti-genocide constituency!

More to the point, our foreign policy is what will create our "homeland" security. If we work to prevent terror, terror will visit us less.
