Argh-still sick, so I didn't get to go with my family to see the movie again...but some online investigating suggests that ( being considerate and cutting spoilers... )

OHhh! ANd after seeing the scene, I said to Arthi and Alison - "Isn't that the kid from the beginning?" and they both said no. Ha! I feel so correct about everything now. ^^

hmmm. *thinks* that doesn't make any sense, though, because the guy from the E.I.C (blanking on his name) is doing the hanging, but he dies at the end. So either there was some trippy time-machine action going, or it wasn't the same kid.

I dunno...I seriously thought the boy in the beginning was skinner and had smaller eyes...

they look similar...but...I dunno...

yes, i thought the *same thing*!! i was like "isn't that the same boy as at the beginning?" and then brittany and jared were like "um, no.... that guy got hanged..."

but i STILL thought so!

and if this curse-breaking is true, they are stupid to have left it out from the movie. i mean, it changes how the whole thing ends!

though, i thought the green light was just there to signify that will could come ashore that day...

Yeah, that explanation makes me feel a lot better (hi! it's alison btw).
I know that i said it wasn't the same boy at the end cause it wouldn't make sense, but he did look very similar. And i don't think their son is hanged as a flashforward in the beginning of the movie.
oh also, about the flash... will isn't really dead when he's captain... or so i thought. He's like.. in limbo? Oh well, i feel much better... arthi can laugh at me still.
