So yesterday I donned my 18th century apparel and headed out to Battle Road with Cate's family.
It was SO MUCH FUN!!
We had brought the pie with us we had baked the night before, so We used it as a bribe to get into the British camp. There I was introduced to Cate's musician friends, and we all hung out for a bit. Most of the morning was spent walking up and down the road greeting people (Mrs. Malone was there, and we stayed with her for a while) and giggling ^.^
Then Wendy, Cate and I had lunch in one of the fields, and had a good long B*tch about drama. Then it was time for the battle.
A lot more tourists than I were expecting were there, but being reenactors, Cate, Andre, Wendy and I went over to piquet with Mrs. Lacroix (Cate's mom), so we got to sit on a big blanket in front of everyone ^.^ Afterwards Cate and I went to get drinks, and ended up sitting on a bench talking about Harry Potter.
It sounds boring when I write it down, but it was a really fun day. Then last night Lydie and I went tot he Burlington Mall, tried on some really hideous prom confections at Macy's, and had a nice b*tch-fest about Julia (even though I promised mom I wouldn't) over Japenese food court fare. At Lord and Taylors we ran into Caroline and Mrs. Rossi, so we got to see them, which was fun ^.^
All in all, it was exactly what I needed.

Today is officially PROM DAY, so Lydie, Mom, and I are going up to Nashua to hit the bridal stores and then to Chelmsford to hit Marcus and Leslie. Hopefully, we'll both find something- I have a vague idea of what I want, but I'm so picky it'll probably take a while >.< Anyways, yay shopping!! (and ew, weather...) So off to eat lunch and then go!
