Summary: On the night of Valentine's day, Yoochun calls Junsu to pick him up from a pub.
The fourteenth of February is not one of Junsu’s favorite days. In fact, if he had a list of his favorite days of the year, February fourteen wouldn’t be on that list. It would actually be on a separate list, which will probably be entitled, “Junsu’s Most Hated Days” in bold text because his hatred toward this day (and some other days) is just that strong.
Why hate on February fourteen so much, Junsu? You might ask.
Because he’s single.
Kim Junsu is still single.
Even after all those charismatic, lustful stunts he has pulled throughout the years he doesn’t understand why he’s still single. And every other Valentine’s day, it gets to him even more.
Questions, all sorts of self-conscious questions drill through his head: Am I ugly? Is my S-line intimidating to my potential mates? Do they still see me as angel Xiah? Maybe I do too much skinship that I really look gay?
Junsu sighs, petting his fluffy Leo on his lap with a soft pout.
“At least I’ve got you,” he scuffles Leo’s fur and kisses his head. His cat meows in reply.
Here is he, alone yet again on another Valentine’s day.
“Who needs a girlfriend?” Junsu scoffs as he grabs one of the assorted chocolate boxes he had received from his loving fans. He’s been on the couch all day, eating chocolate.
“When I’ve got a whole bunch of fans who love me and care for me?” he huffs as he takes one and pops it in his mouth, “Girlfriends are expensive anyway,” he adds another comment as he chews.
“I don’t need one,” he convinces himself with a nod and a smile, “Right, Leo?”
“Meow~”
“Right,” Junsu grins, a smudge of chocolate on his front tooth but he doesn’t see it.
Suddenly his phone rings beside him.
“Heyyyyy” he hears a very drunk Yoochun.
Junsu’s brows furrow together, “Yoochun?” he wrinkles his nose too, as if he could smell the strong stench of alcohol as his friend laughs on the phone.
“Hey! Are you doing anything right now?”
“Uh...” Junsu sighs, taking a look around his living room, a few empty chocolate boxes laid around. He hesitates on telling Yoochun and ends up saying, “No...not really.”
“Great! Come over here!”
“It sounds like you’ve already started the party without me...” Junsu replies, frowning a little. When it comes to drinking, the two soul mates usually leave him out, knowing that Junsu would always give the same answer.
But still, it’s polite to ask.
“Nobody’s here! I came alooone,” Yoochun half laughs and sobs into the phone, “So lonely Junsu-yah. Oh so lonely!”
Junsu rolls his eyes, “So you want me to pick you up?”
Yoochun hiccups, “Please?”
It’s not like Junsu had a choice, if he said no, Yoochun would probably call Jaejoong...but then, he would’ve probably called him first.
Junsu ends up puts Leo beside him before getting up to get a coat and slip into his shoes before stepping out to pick his drunkard friend home.
Over the past years, Junsu’s had some pretty sucky Valentine’s days but this has got to be the worst.
He arrives at the usual pub Yoochun goes to and finds him dry humping one of the bar’s high chairs, laughing to himself while others just stand and watch. The things Yoochun wouldn’t do when he’s intoxicated are little to pretty much, none. All his inhibitions are thrown out the window and run over by a bus.
He’s going to spend the rest of his Valentine’s day getting a drunk Yoochun home.
How wonderful, Junsu sighs.
Junsu watches his friend neck another shot, “Whoo!” he puts the tiny glass on the table with a loud sound and cheers himself on, spin-hopping in place.
Yoochun grins when he sees a blurry Junsu coming toward him, “Hey~ you’re here!” he laughs. “Hey, bartender!” he stops his motions clumsily, facing the bar table, “Can you uh-- please gets mya handssome buddyyy~ here a piña colada?”
“Oh no,” he chuckles, shaking his head toward the bartender who seems pretty annoyed with Yoochun already. “I’m just here to pick him up.”
“Awwwww,” Yoochun pouts, “B-b-b-but!” he looks at Junsu with adoring puppy eyes.
Junsu looks at him with an uninterested expression and covers his face with the palm of his hand, “No. Now lets go,” he says, pulling Yoochun by the face.
“Nohuhuhuhuh,” Yoochun’s muffled cries causes a few people to laugh as they exit.
The ride home goes along smoothly, excluding the fact that it took Junsu five minutes to get Yoochun into the passenger’s seat because for some reason Yoochun just couldn’t stay still. Once Yoochun’s buckled and Junsu, behind the wheel, Yoochun gets really quiet.
He just keeps sighing.
Junsu raises an eyebrow, glancing at the other.
Then out of the blue, Yoochun begins singing a familiar tune-- one of the songs from Junsu’s musical. Singing his drunk heart out with big body gestures and facial expression, Yoochun-- from Junsu’s point of view looks pretty crazy and he laughs once or twice as he sees him performing from the corner of his eyes while driving.
After his little random number, Yoochun’s silent again.
Junsu decides to turn on the radio when Yoochun asks, “Was it soft?”
“Huh?”
Yoochun blinks and stares at Junsu, “Was it soft?”
Junsu blinks a few times, eyebrows scrunching together, “What was soft?”
“His lips,” Yoochun says bluntly, without attached feelings. “Sir...uh...what’s his face,” he sighs, leaning on the headrest. “You were totally sucking his face off,” he chuckles lightly, eyes on Junsu’s profile.
Junsu laughs, “Tod was sucking his soul.”
“Was that what it was?” Yoochun sighs softly, looking away.
“Yeah,” Junsu shrugs and thinks nothing of the question.
When they finally make it to Yoochun’s villa, Junsu parks his car in the drive way and helps Yoochun up to walk to the door. After a few minutes is spent on finding the right key, Junsu opens the door and flicks the lights on.
“Take me to my death bed, Tod,” Yoochun slurs, looking up at Junsu with a playful smile.
“Don’t say that,” Junsu frowns, poking Yoochun’s nose as he gets both of them inside and closes the door.
Yoochun just hums and lets go of Junsu, stumbling his way to his bedroom and flopping onto his bed with is face on the fluffy mattress. He lets out a low moan.
Junsu follows, taking Yoochun’s shoes off for him.
The drunk man giggles, kicking softly and crawls up his bed then lays his head on his pillows. “Junsu-yah,” he whispers.
“Huh?” Junsu’s too busy putting away his shoes.
“Junsuuuu,” Yoochun groans, getting a little irritable.
“What?” Junsu finally sits on the edge of the bed, “Go to sleep already,” He pats Yoochun’s leg.
Yoochun sighs, “Junsu,” he calls for his attention again before holding a finger gun against his head.
Junsu blinks, “What are you...”
“Bang,” Yoochun whispers and pretends he’s dead, making the younger male laugh in amusement. “Yah,” he scoots closer, shaking Yoochun’s arm. “Should I take your soul now that you’re dead?”
Yoochun doesn’t respond for a few seconds then he nods softly with an audible, “Mhm.”
Junsu can’t help but put on an awkward smile, the hairs on his forearms begin standing. He figures, if he can kiss a guy, he can kiss Yoochun. So he does.
He leans forward and cups Yoochun’s cheek before sucking his soul-- tongue and saliva.
Yoochun giggles into it and enjoys their kiss, hoping in the back of his mind that he would remember tonight. While Junsu on the other hand, is surprisingly not even a tiny bit reluctant to stay the night.
