4th quarter, score is 10 - 0, Machines are ahead, but don't give up hope
Bought a new printer/scanner/fax yesterday...it's real pretty sitting in the box! Hoping I can figure how to set it up so it communicates with the WIFI - this will mean I can lie in my spot and do all my work without having to get up, except to visit the facilities...caught myself as I almost typed "get up to get a beer"...I've been hop-less for three weeks and counting! This may be a record for this boy-o. Not bragging, but jinxes run easy for me and I'd like to keep on this road for a bit longer. I'm enjoying getting to work on Mondays at a decent hour and without having to hide from the boss because of red-eye. Plus it's easier to hold ones head up if it's not pounding through the wall to find relief!
Anyways, the printer...my old one is biting the dust, as you Westerners say...why is beyond me - one cannot really bite dust unless ones housekeeping habits are horrible...dirt! Yes, one can bite dirt - I've done it many a time. Digressing...the old printer hasn't exactly quit on me...but the symptoms are there, and fuck, I wanted a new one, have the money so bought the damned thing! Now to set it up...will do so in the next few days.
The business is moving ahead...took my business plan to my bank to see about a capital infusion for start up. It actually looks promising...so will hear soon about that.
No news in my personal (sic) life...I do have one...just no news.
