Pakibatukan nga yung character ni Yuchun, please lang.
I've been watching "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" for the past two days (four years late, yeah, I know, but this is what happens when, after a few years, you suddenly find yourself with more time to spend than usual) but this is the first time I've had the urge to post something about a part I saw.
I'm talking about episode 13:
(No background info because, tbh, anyone who can read this - and by that I mean everyone who knows about this journal - would already know what it's about. If ever you're an exception to the "rule" I linked to it's Wiki page up there.)
At around 30 minutes, Yuchun's Lee Sun-joon woke up inside the school clinic after sustaining an injury when he shielded Park Min-young's Kim Yoon-shik from an intentional hockey stick blow (kinda like a beater hitting a bludger) by the scheming Student body president (King of Grudges, sa totoo lang!) I don't know if singlakas ng suntok ng kabayo ang sipa ni president or sadyang 'di pa naimbento in any way or form ang Incremin noon. Anyway...
Just before he completely wakes up he had flashbacks of the memorable times spent together with Kim Yoon-shik, and the way I saw it, he actually finally admitted to himself that he's really in love with said guy (who is actually a girl in disguise, jezkelerd, may Superman effect na nung Joseon era!)
So anong problema?
E PUTA PAGKAGISING NYA ANG NADATNAN NYANG KATABI NYA E YUNG FEELINGERANG FIANCEE NYA KUNO. NAKIPAGKALAS NA NGA NG ENGAGEMENT TAPOS TANGINANG YUCHUN 'TO, NAG-PROPOSE NAMAN NG MARRIAGE AMPUTA.
I stopped watching after that (well, mainly because I was streaming and my internet went out.) I watched the second Fullmetal Alchemist movie instead kasi sa sobrang bilis ng panahon (or dahil kulang sa Memoplus) I forgot that I already watched it before.
I know. Utos ng scriptwriter at director, and ultimately, it's all gonna be Sun-joon and Yoon-shik in the end (kasi bida sila, anuba) I just found it frustrating that he got so scared of what he's feeling, enough to make him choose to stay in an empty relationship for probably the rest of his life (he couldn't care less for the fiancee - I think he's recognizing her existence only because of his good manners, tbh) rather than accept his love for a guy (na hindi nga naman talaga guy, anuba.) Sabagay if during that era, women can't even study or work for a living, what more yung bakla, 'di ba? Baka bigla na lang siyang i-chop-chop in public.
KASO TANGINA PAASA DUN SA FIANCEE (kahit nakakaasar siya!) TAPOS UNNECESSARY HEARTACHE (so this is heartache...!) FOR THE GIRL GUY WHO ALREADY LOVES HIM AS WELL.
I just had to let that one out. Internet's back so streaming is a go again, but
(1) the voice of Fukuyama Masaharu is lulling me to sleep. SAKURAZAKA !!!
(2) I kinda wanna watch the first FMA movie (as a refresher, lol)
(3) listening to GOOD LUCK MY WAY made me miss L'Arc~en~Ciel so much, let me sleep while hugging the old poster my friend gave me as an omiyage from their Trans Asia concert in HongKong
Will probably finish this episode and then sleep. Btw, I like this guy, Song Joong-ki ! :P
