Oh wow, you're great! :D I will link to the comm, if you don't mind. I think I know someone who might be interested in reading this. It's quite easy to follow. It would be perfect if there were some dates added (the confirmed ones), but it's awesome as it is.

[First Mission Short Story] shouldn't it be [The Meeting Short Story]? :)

If you still feel overwhelmed by the radiation articles, I think no one would have minded the official map of location in some more accessible form... ;) But more seriously-- I hope you feel better now. Hugs! And thank you :)

Thanks, I changed it! A lot of the time, there are no fixed dates, just seasons. But I seem to remember Ran saying in a CD drama that he first travelled to Sendai five years ago... And two years before he was in Sendai Kritiker there.

First visit: Around 15.
Second visit: Around 18.
Third visit: Around 20.

Sound about right?

Yes, you got it right! :)

Endless Rain, Aya:
The first was five years ago, during the season where Sakura flowers blossomed....

You're right, the dates rarely are mentioned. I concentrated too much on the 5th episode-- according to Yuriko's notebook it runs from the 30th April to 7th May. I think adding such bits where it's possible will help people to get some idea *where they are*-- for example when writing a fic based on the X episode of Kapitel.

Some other details... Ran arrives to Tsushima on the beginning of March, 1997. Joins Tokyo Crashers in Spring, 1997. Ken was kicked out of J-League in 1996 (confirmed in the 4th episode)...

I thought I will research the dates/seasons, so you don't have to do all the work yourself. But of course feel free not to include this ( ... )

That sounds about right -- also, Omi stays 17 throughout Kapital, while the others go up one year in age. This means it must have started just after his birthday and ended before.

I also vaguely remember that at least one (maybe two?) missions were supposed to take place around Christmas.

Hmm I thought that Kapitel takes place from April to September (it's also on weisskreuz .ru), and only Aya has birthday during the anime, as he is born on the 4th July. Ken's birthday is the 23rd December (and his age is listed 18-19), Youji's the 3rd March (his age is listed 21-22), and Omi's the 29th February (his age listed 17 ( ... )

Maybe I didn't explain it well. I've seen the same ages you have though. So my take is that Kapital starts with Omi being 17, Aya 19, Youji 21 and Ken 18. Over the course of the anime, Aya turn 20, Youji turns 22 and Ken turns 19. So it runs from just before March 3rd to just after 23rd December (three get their birthdays, one doesn't). But it could be that the CD dramas are complicating that. Or the fact that they wanted Significant Dates for all the characters.

(Alternative suggestion: Omi is actually around 68 and only counts his birthdays when he hits a leap year...)

Not the last missions, ones mentioned in CD dramas. I googled it and apparently I'm thinking of Dramatic Collection 2, when a girl is found "decorating" a Christmas tree in Sendai, and the mission in Wish a Dream Collection 4.

haha no, I don't want Significant Dates for all characters. I just like discussing the series and considering options (sorry if I took it too far!). I still think that Kapitel runs from about April to September, though, but your idea makes sense.

Ahh, I know what missions you mean. In Endless Rain, that would be Christmas, 1996. And in First Mission, Christmas, 1997. I think...

Ah, when I said Significant Dates, I just meant that Aya's is Independence Day in the US, Youji's is Girl's Day, Omi's is a leap year and Ken's is the Emperor's Birthday. And dammit, all canon will fit around that. Because we said so. :P

"Aya's is Independence Day in the US"

OMG lol I'd not even noticed this!! :D You're right, they wanted to give them all significant dates, lol!

And sorry, yes, I misunderstood you. I thought that you mean I'm trying too hard to make sense of the birthdates :)

You know, I always assumed that Ken is 19 in Kapitel and Youji's 22-- now that I'm thinking of your take on things, Ken feels weird haha It doesn't matter to me if Youji is 21 or 22, but a 18-year-old Ken feels like a brat to me.
