[When the PCD clicks on, there's an upward angle on a teenaged girl, about 14 or 15, with blue hair up in a ponytail and pink eyes. She doesn't seem to notice this, or anything at all at the moment. For a few moments she's standing there and staring off to the distance with apprehension and worry. When the change in scenery starts to sink in,

[Well, Spike was correct; people did have strangely-colored hair. It's a fleeting thought, though, as Juliet is far more concerned about the woman's state of unease.]

My lady, please, calm down. Are you all right? Are you hurt?

[She does notice the view changing. Can the woman fly, as Bubbles can? Still, it is of little matter at the moment.]

There is much strangeness in this place, but it can be explained, in a manner of speaking.

[Sense his energy? Well, she has heard of stranger things in the last few months.]

If you can sense such things, Lady, are you able to tell whether his energy is strong or weak? It might help you to determine whether or not he is well. And, can you find him through this power?

I can only sense that he's around and how strong his energy is, though. If I had the navigator tool, I could have tracked him...

Oh, dear. I hope that he is not injured. What is his name, Lady, and I can at least tell you if I know him.

[She gives what she hopes is a reassuring smile.]

And if he is here, he shall have a little machine, as we do, and at the top, there is a button he can push which will show you where he is. It is most useful.

His name is Kurama.

[Wait, she learned better earlier, with Usagi.]

Ah, I mean Shuichi.

[It probably also helps that both Botan and Kurama have light 'polished' accents. Kurama's possibly considered stronger, but both light.]

I have spoken with a Shuichi once. He offered help during the floods. He seemed well then, and I have not seen any note on these little machines that would indicate he is injured.

Ah! I didn't know these communicators had such a feature. So advanced compared to spirit world...

These devices are quite miraculous, are they not? We have nothing like them in my time.

[She catches that.]

Spirit world? Forgive me, are you like the Angels, Lady?

They're certainly more advanced than what we're given back home.

[Angels? Well, she supposes some departments...]

No, I don't think so at least. Botan's the name, pilot of the River Styx. Some cultures also call me the grim reaper. It's not exactly like the angels, is it?

The River Styx? But, surely that is just -

[a myth. But, with all she's seen in Adstringendum, can she really be sure?]

You are certainly more pleasing in appearance than the grim reaper depicted in my time, Lady Botan. Ours is a skeleton with a black cowl, and he carries a sickle. No, not exactly like the Angels.

How nice of you~ Really, I'm not all that sure how the black and skeleton image got around. I wasn't around back then, so I couldn't actually say.

I believe the people of my time believe death is something to be feared. But if one has lived rightly, in the ways that God has intended, it should not, should it?

[Ignoring the fact that she's a bit afraid of it herself.]

Well, it is normal for people to be afraid of death, and even completely resist it happening. That's true even where I'm from.
